Today our school celebrated Mother's Day. We had an assembly in the morning to celebrate the day. Some students from O'Loughlin Catholic College's Youth Ministry group were kind enough to cook morning tea for everyone.
Today we opened our experiments during investigation time. The smell was wicked. It was very interesting to see how the iced water was different to the tap water and the hot water. The milk made a difference too. The children were very observant and it was great to see them recording their results. Jonelle and I are thinking maybe we will investigate mould next.

Tennis Australia has launched the ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Racquet Roadshow to celebrate a record 80,000 racquets being delivered to primary school students across the country. Holy Family students in the T/1 classes (Room 14 and 15) received one of these tennis racquets.
Twenty-two time Grand Slam champion Todd Woodbridge, visited and presented the racquets to Holy Family students. He, along with student from Room 14 and 15, Took part in on-court activities also.
I’m not sure if the students, staff or parents were more excited to see Todd!
