After the tour we went on a self-guided walk to visit the other animals. The children loved the cheeky monkeys, the ocelot, the up-close tigers, the roaring lions and the newborn buffalo calf. Students were then given an opportunity to handle an albino corn snake. Most of them were very relaxed with a snake wrapped around their shoulders and crawling up their shirts! We had some very tired children on the return bus ride, but we all had an enjoyable day.
The supervising teaching staff were very proud of how the Transition and T/1 students conducted themselves as representatives of Holy Family School.
